Banana - Kinnathappam

I want to share a quick and easy recipe of breakfast/ snack. It is similar to the traditional Kerala Kinnathappam.

I always make sure that my son eats one Kerala banana (nethrapazham) every day and he is too lazy to eat that. I have to make sure that the banana is always of medium size and is not too ripe. Once it is too ripe he won’t eat it.

So I tried this recipe with the over ripe banana’s. It’s healthy and tasty.

Ripe bananas -2/3
Rice flour – enough to get the consistency similar to the idly batter.
Coconut milk powder – 2-3 table spoons.
Sugar.
Cardamom seeds
Cumin seeds – a small pinch

Blend all the ingredients – pour into a dish, garnish with raisins and Steam cook in low flame.

Yummy banana Kinnathappam is ready!!!!
